The Client

Action for a Better Community is a Community Action Agency that promotes and provides opportunities for low-income individuals and families to become self-sufficient.

Action for a Better Community, Inc. is one of nearly 1,000 nationally recognized Community Action Agencies (CAA’s) established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to fight America’s War on Poverty.

My part of the project

ABC releases a report each year to highlight their multiple programs, services, and community projects. Needed was a full printed book with icons, infographics, and page layouts. The biggest challenge was collecting photographs of actual ABC events while avoiding costly stock photography, and creatively displaying data and figures.
